      Mr. Bahadir Samli graduated from Computer Engineering Department of Ege University and he completed his MBA study on Business Administration at Ozyegin University. After working as Director at a private bank, he joined ING Bank Turkey team in 2012. Mr. Samli was assigned as Information Technologies Assistant General Manager in 2015. Area of responsibility of him was extended in 2017 and currently Mr. Samli has been working as Technology Assistant General Manager and Executive Committee Member in ING Bank.

      Baris Tezcan - Citi Bank - Assistant General Manager, Commercial Banking

      Baris joined Citi in 2000 and has held various positions within CTS. Prior to his current role, he was the Cash Management Head for the Turkey & Israel Cluster and Head of Marketing for the Commercial Bank in Turkey. Baris has 18 years of banking experience, initially at Garanti Bank and Fortis. Baris holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Statistics at METU, and an MBA degree from Bilgi/MBS University joint program. He has been working at Citi since 2000 and he is Assistant General Manager in charge of Commercial Banking and also Deputy General Manager.

      Cihan Vural - Burgan Bank - Executive Vice President, Internal Audit and Control Group

      Cihan Vural graduated from METU Statistics Department in 1992 and worked as research assistant at Dokuz Eylul University and University of West London. He started his professional career at Kocbank in 1995 as business analyst. Between 1995-2008, he worked at Kocbank and Yapi Kredi Bank which are under Koc Financial Services. He worked on projects like internal audit, development of control and enterprise risk management systems, structuring of Internal Audit Center and Information Systems Audit units, implementation of AML and Fraud Prevention and Detection systems. Later he took top management roles like Head of Internal Control Center. Since 2008, he has been working as executive vice president of Internal Audit and Control Group at Burgan Bank A.S. and he is responsible from the management of Audit Board, Internal Control Center and Compliance Department. Cihan Vural is a member of The Institute of Internal Auditing of Turkey (TIDE) and International Fraud Examination Experts Associations (USIUD) and also a member of Ethics Committee at The Banks Association of Turkey. He has CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance) certificates.

      Dilek Duman - DenizBank - COO

      Dilek Duman joined DenizBank Financial Services group as the Information Technologies Group Manager in 1997. After she worked as Intertech’s General Manager between 2004 and 2008, she has been working as COO of DenizBank A.S. since Junary 1, 2009. She started her career in 1989 as a software engineer and she joined Intertech in 1993 as Technical Consultant. Mrs. Duman received her Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Bogazici Universitesi in 1990. Dilek Duman is recently managing Intertech, Central Operations Group, Organization Group, CRM Group, Service Quality Group, Call Center Group and Card Payment Systems Group in DenizBank Financial Service Group.

      Mustafa Dundar - Yapi Kredi Technology (A Subsidiary of Yapi Kredi Bank) - General Manager

      Mustafa Dündar graduated from Computer Engineering Department of Ege University in 1992. He also had a MBA degree from Bilgi University on Banking and Finance. He started his career in 1992 at Koc American Bank as software developer. Until the merger with Yapi Kredi in 2006, he developed front-office and back-office applications in different fields of the banking. After the merger, he worked at Yapi Kredi Bank Information Technologies Department as Treasury and Subsidiaries Software Development Director, Credits Applications Development Director and finally Software Infrastructure, Architecture and R&D Director. Since 2015, he has been working as the General Manager of Yapi Kredi Technology A.S. which is a software company in ITU Ari Teknokent developing A.I. and mobile applications.

      N. Ilker Altintas - Akbank - EVP, Technology and Operations

      N. Ilker Altintas is the EVP of Technology and Operations at Akbank since January 2017. He joined Akbank in March 2012 as VP of Enterprise Architecture and later became Senior VP of IT Architecture and Core Banking Division. During his roles at Akbank, he was in charge of IT strategic programs including major IT transformation and application modernizations, and he was also responsible for the IT-for-IT programs including DevOps, IT ERP, and Agile Transformation. Starting at 2015, he has led full agile transformation of Akbank IT. He, as the COO of the bank, also leads design and delivery of end-to-end branch transformation, digital process and customer experience design, and operational efficiency and excellence initiatives. Prior to joining Akbank, Dr. Altintas led R&D teams in software technology companies, engineered finance/banking products, led engineering processes and executed several banking transformation projects.Ilker Altintas is a graduate of Middle East Technical University, Department of Computer Engineering and holds a PhD degree in software engineering from the same university. He published many scientific and technical articles in international conferences and journals. He is also committee member for various national and international conferences.

      Mr. Burak Erkek, has been Senior Vice President of Internal Audit of Garanti Bank, since April, 2014. He is in charge of IT audits, Remote Audit, Treasury & Risk Management Audits. He has an extensive audit experience within Garanti Bank (Turkey, Netherlands, Romania, Luxembourg, Russia, Cyprus, Malta) & Fortis (Turkey, Malta). He participated to the internal audit department of Fortis, in 2003 and was employed by Fortis for 3 years. In December 2006, he joined Garanti Bank to lead the IT audit function. He designed and developed Garanti Bank’s IT Audit organization, in 2006. Mr. Burak Erkek has expertise in Internal Audit, IT Audit, Remote Audit, Operational Risk Management, E-Banking, E-Commerce, Information Security, Project management, Governance & Compliance, Ethical Hacking, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery and Vendor management. Mr. Burak Erkek has B.S. & M.B.A. degrees, CISA, CEH, CRISC, PMP, ITIL FC, ISO 27001 and BS 25999 LA credentials. He is a member of ISACA, EC-Council, PMI and several global communities.

      Kadriye Atsal works as a Vice President of Software Development Groups at Yapi Kredi Bank. She is responsible for Core Banking, Treasury and Credits Applications systems software development and analysis groups. She has more than 20 years of experience in this sector. She has mainly worked in digital and core banking application areas. She graduated from university in the Istanbul Teknik.

      Omer Ragip Ozkan - Burgan Bank Turkey - Head of IT Project Management Office

      Omer Ragip Ozkan was a project and program manager in HSBC Turkey with over ten years’ work experience before joining to Burgan Bank Turkey as a head of IT Project Management Office. As a project and program manager, he managed several multimillion dollar projects and programs with global and local stakeholders in HSBC since 2007. He is very experienced in managing multinational, risk based, regulation, strategic and Agile IT projects. Between 2003 and 2007, he worked as a Telecommunication Expert in Turk Telecom. Ragip holds PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and Cisco Technologies (CCNA, Cisco-QoS) certificates. He is currently giving seminars, mentoring and speech at universities regarding to career in project management for youth. Ragip graduated with a BSc degree from Istanbul University, Electronics Engineering Department in 2001. He is currently following MBA program in Istanbul Bilgi University and expected to complete in 2017. During his academic research in Turkey and the USA, he was author and presenter for two international - two national scientific articles.

      He completed his undergraduate education on Economy and his graduate study on Business Administration. After working as a DJ and voice-over professionally for 5 years, he started to work in banking sector in 2001. During his banking career, he worked on various departments like call center, credit allocation, project management, digital channels management and took active role in merger&acquisition of 3 banks of which one is in Poland. He works on recycling and wooden furniture projects at a small atelier at his house. He holds CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and SCRUM certificates.

      Zeynep Seda Tekin Turnalı was born in Izmit in 1968. She graduated from Istanbul University Computer Programming Vocational High School at 1986 and she went on her education at Istanbul Technical University Control and Computer Engineering Department during 1989-1990. She started her career at Turkish Airlines and then worked at strong companies of finance industry like Industry Development Bank of Turkey, Demirbank, HSBC and BNP Paribas Cardif. She worked as senior executive at installation, configuration and management of information technologies organizations and infrastructures and also at combination of technology units during corporation and bank integration. Currently she is working as director at BNP Paribas Cardif responsible from Information Technologies, Process Management, Organization and Project Management.

      Haydar Ozler, born in 1974 in Diyarbakır, graduated from METU, Civil Engineering Department in 1996. In 1999 Mr. Ozler started his IT career as a software specialist in Turkiye İs Bank A.S. In 2011 he was promoted to the position of the Manager in the Solution Development Department. Between 2006 and 2008 Haydar Ozler completed his MBA at Istanbul Bilgi University. Since May, 2011 he has been working in SoftTech A.S. Currently, he works as Payment Applications Director. Married, has 1 child.

      Mesut Sandal was born in Istanbul, in 1972. He graduated from Mathematical Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University in 1993. He started his career in IT sector at Mega Yazilim as Analyst Programmer in 1993. In 1996, he started to work at Turkish Economy Bank as Software Expert and he worked as Software Director responsible from Group Companies until 2011 at Turkish Economy Bank. Between 2011 and 2015, he worked as the General Manager at BILTIM Bilgisayar Hizmetleri A.S. which is a subsidiary of Colakoglu Sanayi Group. He started to work again at Turkish Economy Bank in 2016 and he has been working as Core Banking Software & Group Companies IT Director.

      Umut Onceler graduated from Statistics Department of Hacettepe University in 1999 and he started his career at Ziraat Kart Islemleri A.S. in 2002. He started to work at Intertech A.S. in 2005 and he took managerial tasks at Decision Support Systems department during 2010 - 2014 and at Credit Risk Management department during 2014 - 2017. Since April 2017 he has been working at The Interbank Card Center (BKM) as Senior Vice President at Fraud Prevention Solutions Department (Security Solutions).

      Cem Ergul - IsNet A.S. - CAE, Chief Audit Executive

      Cem Ergul is presently Vice President of ISACA-Istanbul Chapter. He is also founder of Internal Audit Department and is Internal Audit Group Manager in Istanbul, Turkey for Is Net A.S. (a telecom company and participation of Turkiye Is Bankasi). He has over 20 years experience in governance, auditing, information security, business analysis and software development. Cem has obtained Masters and Bachelors Degrees from Middle East Technical University in Turkey. During his first professional experience in the Middle East Technical University Computer Center, Cem was the coordinator of “Computing Information Service Newsletter” and has written the book “Beginners’ Guide to Unix”. After starting to work as a software developer for Turkiye Is Bankasi, he joined the first Information Systems Internal Control team of the Bank. Cem was Internal Audit and Control Manager for SoftTech A.S. (a software development company and subsidiary of Turkiye Is Bankasi). He was also senior consultant in Turkiye Is Bankasi, Anadolu Insurance Company, and Milli Reassurance Company for COBIT compliance projects. Cem, one of the many national and international conferences and panel speakers including Eurocacs, has CISA, CRISC, ISO27001 LA, ISO9001 IA and ITIL certificates.

      Gurhan started his professional life in Fortisbank as Management Trainee on Corporate Banking. By ending 3 years in banking, Gurhan converted his career to IT business and soon became Department Head of Core Banking IT Projects and accordingly Department Head of Retail Banking. Throughout his 8 years IT career Gürhan has successfully built business in both local and international projects. At March 2012 Gurhan has attended the foundation team of Digital Generation Banking at DenizBank as Department Head of Innovative Special Projects. By returning to banking business he has played leading role in building up new generation products and services in past 3 years. He is one of the architecture of award winning products FastPay, Twitter Loan, MobilDeniz, Direct Banking Platform (DijitalDeniz). He has spent many effective efforts resulting with DenizBank’s “Most Innovative Bank Of The Year” and “Global Innovator” title winning. Through the pipeline he gained the MSc degree on “Strategic Marketing and Brand Management”. Now he is working as Digital Generation Banking Senior Vice President, responsible from Mobile Platforms, Direct Banking and Digital Payment Systems. He is also President of DenizBank Innovation Committee coordinating the Innovation process all around the bank.

      Ahmet Demirel - Bimser Çözüm - Product Manager

      He got his undergraduate degree form Boğaziçi University in Physics in 2001 and from Anadolu University in Public Administration Department in 2013, his graduate degree from Özyeğin University in Law in 2017. He started his professional career in 1996 as an instructor in computer science. In 1998, he began working at Bimser Çözüm as a software specialist, continued to work here as software team leader, software manager, support and implementation manager. After long years of experience in software development processes, he was appointed as product manager. Currently, he is the product manager of QDMS Integrated Management System and Ensemble Process Management, the two software being the two of the most prominently used enterprise software in Turkey. He also manages the necessary operations for the use of these two softwares internationally. The two software, which he manages, provide easily implemented solutions in the areas of Quality, Information Security, Risk Management and GRC in the sector.

      Ali Cakiroglu - Akbank - Open Banking Application Development Product Manager

      Ali Cakiroglu has more than 17 years experience in IT and he worked at many different fields at leading banks of the sector. He graduated from Computer Engineering Department of Ege University in 2000 and started his career at Isbank as software expert. At Isbank, he worked at various financial application development and transformation projects until 2007. He started to work at Akbank in 2008 and worked on many projects on branch, call center and digital channels. He took an active role in innovative projects at where fintech integration took place at the bank in the last period. He was a member of the team that carried out Akbank API Portal (apiportal.akbank.com) project which is the first finance portal in Turkey. Currently he has been working as product manager at Akbank Information Technologies responsible from shaping Open Banking roadmap and management of active projects on Open Banking.

      Cuneyt Dincer - Garanti Bank - Digital Banking, Digital Agile Projects Manager

      Cuneyt Dincer has completed his primary and secondary education at Arı College. After finishing Science High School, he has entered the Economics Department at Bilkent University in 1997. After graduating in 2001, he had different responsibilities in Turkey's leading financial institutions, related to Online Banking, Websites Management, ATMs, Kiosks, Voice Technologies and Mobile Financial Services. He has taken several managerial positions in all of the digital channels, created new platforms with these technologies, and developed innovative projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing digital channels. In 2007 he has participated Dogus Group as Eureko Insurance Alternative Delivery Channels Manager. After 2009 he has taken managerial roles in the Digital Banking in Garanti Bank. He has introduced many successful digital projects in the Turkish financial market and led several international award-winning digital applications. Currently, he continues to work in the Garanti Bank as Manager of Digital Agile Projects Manager.

      Deniz Omer is Senior Sales Executive at Calypso Technology responsible for Capital Markets across Turkey and the Middle East. He has over 15 years’ experience selling complex financial technology solutions into a diverse range of financial institutions including investment banks; asset managers; hedge funds and central banks and has worked at blue-chip technology companies each with a view to grow their companies and move into new territories and markets. Deniz started his career in London at Blomberg LP where he dealt with some of the largest banks in the world at a time of great change within the financial markets. He regularly speaks at industry events around the subjects of capital markets and automation; risk management; operational efficiency and the changing landscape of the Treasury in emerging and developed markets. Deniz holds an LL.B (Hons) Law Degree from London and has specialized in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law

      He was the first resource that BI Technology assigned since the beginning of distributorship. Over the 7 years of BI Technology Distributorship, he is responsible for introduction the Qlik products to Turkish Market and meeting the all technical needs in marketing stage. Thereafter, he performs and operates to give technical, training supports and knowledge transfer to Technical Departments, Sales Department and Partners. Furthermore, he directs and manages the consultancy and Pre-Sales activities. By this time, He leads or hands-on working on Pre-Sales activities, POCs, implementation of optimum architecture, training, technical support, performance tuning, best practices and project management in over 400 projects such as TEB, Is Bank, Ziraat Bank, Turk Telekom, HSBC, Kuveyt Turk Participation Bank, THY, Mey Icki, TT Net, Anadolu Insurance.

      Emre Karaman - The Credit Bureau of Turkey - Head of Data Analytics and Decision Support Systems

      Emre Karaman received his Bachelor of Science degree from Hacettepe University, the Department of Statistics. He later continued on to higher education in the United Kingdom and achieved MSc and PhD degrees at the University of Sheffield. Upon completing academic studies he joined Experian, a global analytics and consultancy company, where he worked for 13 years. During this period he delivered many analytical, consultancy and decision support systems solutions regarding credit risk management in finance and telecommunication sectors, in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and Russian Federation countries. In 2012 Dr Karaman joined The Credit Bureau of Turkey (KKB) as the Head of Data Analytics and Decision Support Systems. Among his responsibilities have been the establishment of BI team and infrastructure, the establishment of data analytics team and development of various statistical prediction models, data quality studies, implementation of centralised decision support systems for financial and real sector institutions and development of national fraud prevention systems and services.

      Hakan Kantas - Halkbank - IT Governance and Continual Service Improvement Division Manager

      He started his career in the midst of 1980 as author and editor at MacWorld, PC World and PC Magazine. He started his professional career in 1993 at IT Department of Pamukbank. Until 2007, he developed Credit Cards banking package and software, he took role in adapting IBM’s Core Banking packet into the design of Pamukbank Core Banking system, he worked as a project manager and technical manager in the installation of many projects like Pamukbank Digiturk TV Banking, Internet Banking. Since 2007 at the unit he worked, he managed ITSM (IT Service Management) and CSI (Continual Service Improvement) projects that supplied comprehensive innovative transformations to implement global best practices in IT by service oriented approach and IT process model compatible to regulations. He has Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and ITIL-Foundation certificates and he was a former board member of ISACA Turkey and itSMF-Turkey Chapter. Currently he is working at IT Governance and Continual Service Improvement Department and he’s responsible from following areas; Project Office, Management of Risk and Compliance, Quality Management, Performance Management, Chance Management, Project and Portfolio Management, Service and Information Architecture Management, Governance and Planning, IT Strategy and Value Management and Continual Improvement.

      Halim Memis - Isbank - Unit Manager, Digital Banking Department

      Halim Memis graduated from Civil Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University in 1999 and received his MBA degree from the same university in 2002. He started his banking career in 2004 at Isbank as inspector. Between 2012 and 2017 he worked at Card Payment Systems Department of Isbank as Assistant Manager responsible from the new markets and new generation payment technologies. During this role, Halim Memis completed the development of payment systems of Isbank’s abroad organization and he took an active role in all phases of Maximum Mobil application which was launched in 2017 and built with an ecosystem point of view. Since 2017, Halim Memis has been working as Unit Manager at Digital Banking Department of Isbank. At this role, he coordinates the processes of establishment and putting into practice of the strategies regarding IsCep which is the first mobile banking application of Turkey, Internet Branch and ATM channels as well as emerging trends including conversational banking. Halim Memis is married and father of two twin girls.

      Korhan Kuyu - Anadolu Insurance - IT Solution Development Department Manager

      Born in Ankara in 1974, Korhan Kuyu graduated from Electric Electronic Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University. He started his career in 1996 as Trainee Software Expert at Software Development Department of Is Bank. He developed shared modules used in “Core Banking Applications” on IBM Mainframe and he took important roles in the Bank in transition of Y2K and YTL. He was assigned as Deputy Manager of Information Technologies Product and Service Management Department and he took managerial roles on different ITSM processes like “Release Management”, “Configuration Management” and “Change Management”. He was assigned at SoftTech Software Technologies (a subsidiary of Is Bank), and he was Director responsible from alternative distribution channels. Mr. Kuyu has been working at Anadolu Insurance as IT Solution Development Department Manager since December 2015. He has three core goals in medium term at Anadolu Insurance: These are; Providing compliance to Global Digital Transformation, Completing Core Insurance Applications Transformation and increasing production of high quality software effectively. He is married and the father of 2 children.

      Currently developing the emerging markets and he combines 25 years of successful sales career. He developed the strategic B2B Business for Wacom Signature Solution in the last 15 years and created a 100 Billion Euro Business out of it. Before Wacom he developed the B2B Consumer Market for Canon in Germany for nearly 10 years.

      Selim Tastan - Kuveyt Turk Participation Bank - Information Technologies Department Manager

      Selim Tastan has been VP of Application Management Department at Kuveyt Turk Participation Bank since March 2017. He joined Kuveyt Turk in September 2005 as System Expert in IT Operations and later worked as IT Quality and Compliance Supervisor for 2 years. In 2007, he moved to IT Project Management Office and worked as IT Project Manager until July 2013. In August 2013, he became IT Head at KT Bank AG, a subsidiary of Kuveyt Turk. During this time, he had worked in Frankfurt, Germany. In 2016, he moved back to Turkey and joined back to Kuveyt Turk. Selim has graduated from University of Arkansas with Computer Information Systems degree. Selim also attended University of Texas and received MBA. Selim is currently attending Halic University and expected to get PhD degree in Business Administration at the end of 2018.       Born in 1980, Sezer graduated from Computer Engineering Department of Kocaeli University. He got his Master of Science degree on Data Mining. Between 2003-2005 he worked as software consultant at corporate companies and between 2005-2011 he worked at Sabanci Group as senior software engineer. In 2011 he took part as software team leader at Finansbank internet branch, call center channel projects and enpara.com internet and call center channels which was first branchless banking in Turkey. Currently he is working as group manager of internet and mobile banking channels at IBTECH. Also he is a columnist at technology magazines and he is also coaching voluntarily to start-up companies in IT sector.
